Directions from Salzburg airport
Car
From Salzburg airport immediately follow the signs towards Munich.
After about half a mile follow the motorway signs towards Villach.
After a couple of miles the motoway splits, Munich one way and Villach the other. Follow the signs to Villach. It is easy to miss so be careful.
After about 30 miles take the exit for Bischofshofen and head towards Zell am Zee and Gasteinertal.
After around 20 miles take the exit on left for Gasteinertal. This road will take you to Bockstein, passing through Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein.
About 1.5 miles past Bad Gastein you will come to Bockstein. Just before the next junction you will come to a Bakers on the right. There is a small tuning just before on the right (easy to miss). Take this turning and our driveway is 30 yards on left. This is a one way street so be careful. When leaving the drive way you have to turn left.
Train
Trains run every 2 hours daily directly into Bad Gastein. The cost is around 16 euros each way. There are buses from the airport every 15 minutes to the station. A taxi is around 12 euros to the station.
Taxi
Transfers are available to and from the airport, 8 seaters from 99 euros each way. Book in advance as they are very busy during the ski season.
