Bad Gastein in the summer is incredibly beautiful. The Hohe Tauern National Park is easily accessible from Bad Gastein, 15 minutes by car or bus. In this region are Austria's highest summits, with waterfalls belonging to the highest in the world.

There is so much to do in summer or winter.

There are thousands of species of wildlife and plants. For peace and tranquility this is the place to be. Most cable cars are open from May until October which opens up hundreds of kilometers of walking and cycling trails to explore. There are plenty of activities in the summer including hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horse riding and tennis to name but a few. You could also try the new golf course in  the Bad Gastein valley.
