The extensive Gastein ski area is one of the largest in Austria. Part of the vast Ski Amade region, it is suitable for all levels of skiing ability.There are over 200km of pistes, 75% of which are equipped with snow cannons. The off piste possibilities are endless, but use a guide to help you explore.
The mountains in the Gastein region are of relatively high altitude for Austria. At between 2033 and 2686 metres most are open until mid April.
We are 8 minutes by free ski bus to the main gondola station and the bus stop is 50 metres away from the chalet.
