Staying at our beautiful chalet set in the picturesque village of Bockstin, near Bad Gastein. River side garden, guest bar, art room, 5 family sized en-suite bedrooms all with TV & DVD player, balconies and all rooms with panoramic mountain views.

I live and work in Broadstairs, Kent, as a professional artist, gallery owner and teacher of water colours.
The Little Art Gallery, Harbour Street, Eldon Place, Broadstairs is where I sell most of my work. I paint local scenery and I take commissions of pets, people and houses. I have been running the gallery for 6 years and previous to this I had another gallery locally. I have been painting for as long as I can remember and I have been teaching and introducing water colours for about 8 years. Teaching in Austria is a new venture and I hope it to be a successful one. The beauty of Austria is unbelievable. There is so much to paint with perfect light to create the perfect pictures.

Itinerary
The weather in Austria is normaly warmer than England in the summer, but in case of bad weather we will visit locations with shelter that we can paint.
DAY 1
On arrival at Salzburg airport you will be picked up in our mini bus and driven the 1 hour and 15 minutes to Bockstein.
After you have unpacked and setted into your rooms, we will have a welcome drink and light refreshments ready for you in the bar, for introductions and to give you a chance to ask any questions.
We serve dinner at 7.30 pm every evening in the bar (non smoking) giving you a chance to relax.
Day 2
Breakfast will be served between 8-9am
10am- 12 pm ...An introduction ( this all depends what you know as a group) to water colours, stretching paper and all the information I can squeeze in to 2 hours
12-2pm lunch
2-4pm
A walk in the village with our paints and sketch books for hands on!
7.30 Dinner
Day 3, 4, 5, 6
As above but I will be taking you to various locations giving you different challanges in many of the beautiful mountains and villages
on our return we can discuss what everyone feels about their day how they have progressed and how to improve.
Day 7
This is your day for discovering the area and relaxing in your own way either by sight seeing or painting
Day 8
Breakfast and transfers to Salzburg to return to England
All paints, paper, brushes & easels will be provided. You will be given a sketch book to keep for your reference. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you desire.
